Savoursmiths Christmas Ham with Umami Truffle Glaze Potato Crisps
An indulgent filling for cakes, scones, crumpets, waffles, pancakes and the most moreish Victoria sponge cake. Or stir it into double cream and freeze for an instant ice cream.
Happy Crisp-mas one and all.
For the festive season, Savoursmiths have created a lavish new limited-edition flavour. Christmas Ham with Umami Truffle Glaze may sound like something straight out of the pantry of Nigella Lawson, but it’s actually the vegan-friendly potato crisp of dreams. Although we’ll be serving these up at cocktail parties in the run-up to the big day, secretly we can’t wait to slip a few of them into a leftover turkey sandwich.
Savoursmiths make audaciously luxurious crisps, which are cooked up in small batches using homegrown produce from a family-run farm in Cambridgeshire. Mike Russell Smith was raised on that very farm. After a stint in the world of Wealth Management, he returned to it with his wife Colette – a foodie, a model and a qualified Pilates instructor. Together, this dynamic duo co-founded Savoursmiths and are taking the humble potato crisp to a whole new level of decadence, creating exotic flavours with the finest ingredients from all four corners of the globe.
Potatoes, sunflower oil, rice flour, yeast extract powder, natural flavouring, sugar, salt, onion powder, spice (ginger, nutmeg, clove), citric acid, anti-caking agent, herb (bay), black truffle extract.
This flavour is suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians. Gluten Free.
